Matias De Stefano’s Cosmology: The Nine Dimensions of Reality
Who Is Matias De Stefano
Matias Gustavo De Stefano was born on November 12, 1987, in Venado Tuerto, a small city in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. From the age of three, he began recalling detailed memories of what he describes as past lives, the spiritual structure of the universe, and the history of civilizations long vanished from human memory. Raised in an agnostic household with no spiritual framework, his family initially interpreted his vivid recollections as a child’s creative imagination. They allowed him to express himself freely, which became the foundation for a lifetime of sharing what he calls his “memories” of cosmic history.
De Stefano claims he once worked in what is known as the Central Akashic Records — a vast energetic library containing the totality of all information from every dimension of existence. This connection, he says, gave him access to a comprehensive understanding of how the universe was created, how consciousness operates across multiple layers of reality, and what humanity’s role is within the grand architecture of existence.
At age 21, in 2009, De Stefano began publicly sharing his vision of reality. He developed a philosophical framework called Ater Tumti, meaning “Heaven on Earth,” which integrates his cosmological memories with a practical social philosophy he calls Ontocracy — a model for organizing human society based on self-knowledge and biological-spiritual wisdom. He founded the Arsayian Foundation (meaning “those who speak to the world”) to support consciousness-awakening movements and social projects aligned with these principles.
De Stefano’s teachings gained global attention through his series “Initiation” on the Gaia streaming platform, which spans four seasons and 47 episodes. He has also produced “The Journey of Remembering,” a newer series where he guides groups of initiates through sacred sites. His work has taken him to over 40 countries across all seven continents, culminating in a pivotal ceremony in Antarctica during the December solstice of 2012, which he connected to the beginning of a new era of planetary consciousness.
The Fundamental Framework: Dimensions as Perspectives
One of the most important distinctions in De Stefano’s cosmology is that dimensions are not separate physical locations. They are perspectives — different ways of perceiving and experiencing the same unified reality. Moving to another dimension does not mean traveling somewhere else. It means expanding your perception to encompass another aspect of your own existence.
De Stefano describes the universe as having a toroidal or onion-shaped structure, with nine primary dimensions arranged in three groups of three. The first three dimensions describe the creation of consciousness from the universal to the earthly. The next three dimensions correspond to the development of consciousness from the earthly to the divine. The final three dimensions refer to the universal plan — the macrocosmic architecture that holds everything together.
This nine-fold structure mirrors itself at every scale. Just as a human being has a body, soul, and spirit, the universe itself is built in three spectrums: the one that projects through mind, the one that creates ideas and energy, and the one that lives physically. De Stefano calls these Body, Soul, and Spirit.
The First Triad: Creation of Consciousness
The First Dimension — Unity
The first dimension is the dimension of pure unity. It is the experience of oneness itself — the undifferentiated source from which all existence emerges. In this state, there is no separation, no distinction, no duality. There is only pure being that encompasses everything. De Stefano describes it as: “I know who I AM. I know that I AM.”
This is the mind of the universe, the original consciousness that precedes all form. It is not a place but a state of total knowing and total being. Everything that will ever exist is already contained within this unity as potential. However, in order for unity to know itself, it must create something to observe — and so the movement toward the second dimension begins.
The Second Dimension — Duality
For unity to observe itself, it must create duality. The second dimension is the realm of polarity — the primordial split into light and dark, positive and negative, masculine and feminine, observer and observed. This is the first movement of creation.
De Stefano describes this as the moment unity becomes the observer of itself. By creating an other, consciousness gains the ability to experience itself from a new perspective. This duality is not opposition — it is complementarity. The two poles are aspects of the same whole, existing in a dynamic dance that generates the energy of creation.
The second dimension weaves the network of time, which projects into space as every possibility of creation and experience. It is through this movement of polarity that the fabric of reality begins to form.
The Third Dimension — The Triangle and Physical Reality
The interaction of duality creates a third point — the triangle. De Stefano teaches that the triangle is the first structure that ever existed in the universe. It is the original form from which all complexity emerges through fractalization.
From the interplay of positive and negative forces comes the trinity: sound, light, and form. This is the original holy trinity expressed in many of the world’s religions. In the third dimension, all the parts that have been created become real — they gain substance, density, and the capacity for experience.
The third dimension is an experimentation of the expression of the universe. It is where consciousness becomes embodied, where abstract potential takes on physical form. This is where beings like humans exist — in the realm of depth, height, and width, experiencing reality through the senses and navigating the interplay of space and time.
The Second Triad: Development of Consciousness
The Fourth Dimension — Time and Ether
In the fourth dimension, a new point of observation emerges outside the triangle. This observer looks at the entire process of creation from beyond it, perceiving time differently than we do in the third dimension. Here, there is no linear past, present, and future. Time becomes eternal and exists outside the constraints of three-dimensional space.
De Stefano describes the fourth dimension as being like a dream where time and space are not constraints. It is the etheric realm — the dimension of ether, of the eternal. All possibilities that exist in the third dimension are visible simultaneously from this perspective. This is the layer of reality that underlies and sustains physical existence, containing the templates and blueprints for everything that manifests in the material world.
The fourth dimension corresponds to the crust of the planet in Earth’s dimensional structure — the foundation upon which physical life is built.
The Fifth Dimension — Beyond Time and Space
The fifth dimension adds another point of perspective above the square of the fourth dimension, creating a pyramid shape. This is the dimension of going beyond time and space entirely and understanding the eternity of one’s own being.
De Stefano emphasizes that most humans have not fully mastered living in harmony within the third dimension, let alone the fifth. He teaches five statements that form the basis of fifth-dimensional consciousness, which relate to recognizing oneself as an eternal being having a temporary physical experience rather than a physical being seeking spiritual experiences.
The fifth dimension corresponds to the biosphere of Earth — the living layer where all biological processes interact and sustain each other.
The Sixth Dimension — Beyond Good and Evil
In the sixth dimension, the understanding of good and evil dissolves entirely. This is the realm of the architects — the beings who combine sacred geometry with base elements to form physical matter. De Stefano explains that the central light and core consciousness of the universe projects through 12 main rays of light that function as architects of reality.
The geometric structures of this dimension have been historically known as the Platonic Solids and Archimedean Solids. These create specific patterns that are expressed in material worlds. Everything that takes form in the lower dimensions follows the geometric templates established in the sixth dimension.
The sixth dimension corresponds to the atmosphere of Earth — the layer that mediates between the planet’s surface and the vastness of space.
The Third Triad: The Universal Plan
The Seventh Dimension — Heaven and Enlightenment
The seventh dimension is what many traditions call heaven. It is the dimension of enlightenment, where beings have no need to create anything beyond the bliss of their experience. Here reside the great beings of light who have transcended the need for physical incarnation.
De Stefano describes this as the space surrounding the planet — the dimension where cosmic awareness meets the boundary of individual planetary systems. Beings in this dimension guide and influence the evolution of consciousness in the lower dimensions without directly interfering.
The Eighth Dimension — The Akashic Records
As we enter the matrix of the eighth dimension, we find the Akashic Records — the great repository of all information from every dimension of reality. Here we can see everything that comes from the mind of the first dimension and contemplate every possible expression of what this mind creates.
De Stefano describes this dimension as the great tree of life, where the roots meet the branches like a network of connections that binds together everything in existence within a collective consciousness. It is the electromagnetic field around the planet — the information network that records and transmits all experience across all dimensions and all time.
This is the dimension De Stefano claims to have worked in during previous incarnations, giving him access to the comprehensive knowledge he shares in his teachings.
The Ninth Dimension — Transcendence and Return to Unity
The ninth dimension is where everything can be transcended. It is a place De Stefano describes as having no light — just a void where all distinctions dissolve. Here, every being can perceive every timeline and every possible reality, leading to a complete understanding of all parts.
The ninth dimension is the return to unity — but a unity enriched by all the experience gathered through the journey of consciousness through all other dimensions. It is the only way to arrive at the third dimension, creating a loop of consciousness that feeds back into itself. This is the divine experiencing itself through the totality of creation and returning to wholeness with full awareness of everything it has been.
The Seven Universal Laws
De Stefano teaches that the universe is governed by seven laws that apply everywhere, in every time, dimension, and space. He says there is actually only one law, but it is split into seven parts so that beings in the third dimension can comprehend it. Each law corresponds to a chakra center in the human body:
- Mentalism (Crown Chakra) — Reality is created by thoughts and beliefs. The universe is mental in nature.
- Correspondence (Third Eye Chakra) — The outside world reflects the inner state. As above, so below; as within, so without.
- Vibration (Throat Chakra) — Everything in the universe vibrates at different frequencies. Sound and vibration are the mechanisms of creation.
- Rhythm (Heart Chakra) — Everything flows in cycles and rhythms. Time slows in low vibrations and quickens in higher ones.
- Polarity (Solar Plexus Chakra) — Everything has positive and negative aspects. Polarity is the law of creation itself.
- Cause and Effect (Sacral Chakra) — Every action generates a corresponding reaction. This is the law of responsibility.
- Gender (Root Chakra) — The principle of gender exists within everything, in every dimension, as the creative interplay of masculine and feminine energies.
The Toroidal Structure
De Stefano describes the universe as having a toroidal shape — like an onion or a doughnut — where energy flows from the center outward and returns to the center in a continuous cycle. This geometry is fractal, meaning it repeats at every scale from subatomic particles to galaxies to the entire universe itself.
Within this structure, the nine dimensions are nested layers, each interpenetrating the others. The higher dimensions do not exist “above” or “far away” from the lower ones. They exist within and around them, accessible through shifts in consciousness and perception rather than physical travel.
This toroidal model explains how the first and ninth dimensions connect — unity experiencing itself through the full spectrum of creation and returning to unity. It is a self-sustaining cycle of consciousness exploring its own infinite potential.
Practical Implications
De Stefano emphasizes that understanding this dimensional framework is not merely academic. Its purpose is to dissolve the illusory walls of separation that human beings perceive between themselves and the rest of existence. By recognizing that we are multidimensional beings already existing across all nine dimensions simultaneously, we can begin to access greater aspects of our own consciousness and participate more fully in the evolution of the planet and the cosmos.
The journey of remembering — which De Stefano sees as humanity’s primary task at this time — is not about learning something new. It is about recalling what we already know at the deepest levels of our being. The nine dimensions are not destinations to reach but perspectives to reclaim.
